You can present your proposal in person or online. Registration fees are the same for in-person and online participation.
You may join the conference as a presenter or listener. Registration fees are the same for the presenter and listener.
In-person participation: Conference fee includes access to the conference sessions & exhibition, coffee breaks, badge, certificate of participation, conference bag, access to the online conference abstracts, lunches on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, Guided Tour to Cappadocia (Göreme Open Air Museum or Zelve Open Air Museum), and the Welcome Reception and the Early Career Researcher Receptions.
Online participation: There are some time slots allocated in the program for virtual presentations, and only a limited number of sessions (e.g., plenary talks and some symposium sessions) will be live-streamed for online participants. The conference fee includes online access to these limited number of sessions online and running virtual presentations.
Not included: ESERA Conference Gala Dinner and Conference Programme Book. As part of our ongoing commitment to reducing environmental waste, the conference programme book and book of abstracts will be accessible online. A printed conference book is only available through pre-ordering on the conference registration platform at an additional cost of €10 per copy. Participants are invited to purchase tickets and reserve seats for the ESERA 2023 Gala Dinner (August 31, 2023; @ €60 per person) on the conference registration platform. The dinner will be at Nyssa Restaurant & Entertainment Center.
Cancellation policy: There will be no refunds for cancellations after July 1, 2023, but in-person participation can be changed to virtual participation until July 15, 2023. For earlier cancellations, case-based decisions will be made, but a processing fee will be charged.
Accompanying person: In some cases, conference participants come with their partners/wives/husbands, etc., who are not researchers but participate in social events/lunch/coffee breaks, etc. (e.g., all coffee breaks, lunches on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, Guided Tour to Cappadocia (Göreme Open Air Museum or Zelve Open Air Museum), and the Welcome Reception and the Early Career Researcher Receptions).
